Roller Shades from Villa Blind and shutter just got a make-over. The 2016 Soluna Roller shades from Norman Window Fashions are now available. Let me tell you a little about them.
First of all, choosing the right shade from a vast collection of fabrics and colors just got easier. The new color books are organized into five fabrics, including Sheer, Natural, Designer, Black out and Solar screens. This allows for opacity and light control and fabric choices in groups of color books.
And the lift systems are your next choice, choose from a continuous cord lift (a beaded chain), a cordless lift or a Motorized lift. Pretty simple.
Dual shades are now available, like two shades in one, dual shades feature one shade behind the other allowing for ultimate light and privacy control.
Coupled shades are great for side by side windows. Couple shades feature two shades operated by one control..
Available Fascia Options: Square Fascia, Curved Fascia, Fabric Valance and Wood Valance.
New for 2016 are Norman’s new Light Guard, designer strip installed on the window side to block ot light, great idea.

Irvine window coverings this week are in the shades group , and are Sheers. Sheers are well know in the HunterDouglas Brand as Silhouettes. We also carry sheers from Comfortex and J.C. Window Fashions. In this Job of the Week video we are showing off the J.C Sheers.
The design aspect that make sheers so popular are the fabric vanes. These vanes come in 2 and three inch widths, and can be light filtering or room darkening. Their light weight makes them great for large widows. Ever try pulling up a large, wide blind, the weight makes it very difficult.

This week we are showing how a Roller shade can block unwanted heat and light while still allowing a nice view to the rear yard. Norman makes one of the best solar shades in the industry. The percentage of light filtering runs from 0 percent, which is a solid material to 14 percent, which will allow a nice view through to your outside.

Motorized Shades, are available now in Honeycomb shades. ffrom Norman They are a versatile product with features like Cell chambers for energy efficiency, top down-bottom up for privacy, great color and patterns to choose from for Interior Decorating concerns, and now Motorization! Today we installed 17 Roman Shades in a beautiful house in Rancho Santa Margarita. We went to Norman Window Fashions for their great color selection, price point and then felt like the client really got a bonus.
Norman has an incredible Roman Shade feature, a cordless automated lift system called AeroLite, this very nifty automatic lift will, with a gentle downward pull triggers a slow raise of the shade. The handle is on the back. See the photo below. It’s got a beautiful lining, so it looks good from the outside as well. Comes in hobbled, which they call a soft fold.
